Click to read moreOur fast urban bikes combine the easy speed of a road bike with the confident control, comfort and see-everything safety of an MTB style flat bar ride position. We use disc brakes on every bike so weather doesn’t decide whether you’ll stop and larger 32mm tyres for pothole proof speed. Broad range gears in simple sequential single ring or closer stepped double ring options team with lightweight alloy frames, carbon forks and carefully selected components to shrink distances and flatten hills. Sealed internal cable routing and colour coded detailing combine with rack and mudguard mounts to make these bikes as practical as they are stylish and swift.
Light and Progressive
Whyte's latest carbon technology comes to the urban market, combined with SRAM's Rival 1 by 11 groupset, it creates one of the lightest and most progressive Urban bikes available today.
We have incorporated our "Oversize/Undersize" approach from our carbon hardtails to give great power delivery away from the lights, but with class-leading comfort.
Speed, Stability and Control
Based on our high performance mountain bike geometry, the Montpellier bridges the gap between out-right road speed and MTB control, with its long wheelbase and relaxed head angle for high speed stability, and a shorter stem for excellent slow speed manoeuvrability.
