If good design doesn’t cost any more than bad design, why shouldn’t everyone get the best ride character, confidence and practical features available?

The updated MBR ‘Hardtail of the Year’ 600 series frames feature our award-winning skill and smile multiplying Trail geometry with ultra-responsive short stem/wide bar steering to master every metre of trail. Our patented Getta Grip seat clamp means you’re ready for the steepest descent in a second while carefully sculpted frame tubes turn rowdy trail noise into a big grin buzz. Full Shimano transmissions and fast rolling 2.2 WTB Ranger tyres mean you can fly back up for another go or turn a quick explore into an epic adventure.Internal BBX control routing and colour coded components give red carpet looks with back country toughness. In other words, everything you’d expect from a Whyte mountain bike at a price you wouldn’t expect.

“The ride of the 605 is comfortable and lively...The relaxed and agile bike carves through turns with ease” Enduro

"Whyte’s affordable 605 hardtail might not break the bank, but when it comes to on-trail performance it blows most rivals out of the water thanks to a frame sporting bang-up-to-date geometry and well-chosen components" offroad.cc

New Frame

The Whyte design team given the 600 series the "Trail" treatment. A longer frame, wider 740mm bar, shorter stem, wider grippier tyres and even our Enduro developed V-grips make these the most trail-ready bikes in this price category.

Components

You'll find it hard to believe the 603 is Whyte's entry level mountain bike: with carefully chosen, branded parts and a well designed frame it has all the hallmarks of Whyte's award winning DNA.

Get A Grip

The frame bristles with UK design features such as the "Get A Grip" seat post clamp system. This allows quick adjustment, fantastic weather proofing and a nice ergonomic lever which is easy to operate however cold your hands might be.
